Ashley Nyland is a project and event manager with Tapestry Networks. She supports Tapestry’s work in financial services and has previously supported the healthcare business and Lead Director Network. She also manages Tapestry's marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Tapestry, Ashley worked at The George Washington University (GWU) Medical School. There, Ashley managed $1 millon+ of public and private grant budgets for multiple projects. She was also selected by the chair of the department to manage projects for the District of Columbia Developmental Center for Aids Research, which involved coordination amongst multiple other medical school labs in the DC area. Before GWU, Ashley was an event coordinator and office manager for a company specializing in world-wide meeting production for the pharmaceutical industry. Ashley managed client and vendor relationships, all off-site meeting production, as well as all post-meeting production closes. She also ran operations for the company headquarter office, as well as two other offices relating to the business.
Ashley received two bachelor of arts degrees in business administration for marketing and economics, as well as a minor in history, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
